Personal Home Care Aid needed for kind elderly female patient with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) living in the North Baldwin / Freeport Stearns Park area. The patient lives in her own personal home. She is approximately 5’7 inches tall and weighs 127lbs. She cannot walk, is wheelchair bound and has minimal usage of her hands. She requires full assistance with daily tasks including, getting in and out of bed, showering, basic hygiene, assistance with getting dressed, light medical exercising, bathing, grooming, cooking, meal preparation, assistance with feeding, washing dishes, toileting, laundry, as well as house upkeep and daily maintenance. Applicants must be able to transfer lift a patient in a wheelchair that is 127lbs.
Working hours are Sun - Fri from 10:30 am - 3:30pm 30hrs/wk.
Must have your own personal means of transportation.
