We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Private Duty Nurse to provide personalized care for our very active 22 month-old-daughter who has a trach and is G-tube fed. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and be committed to delivering high-quality nursing care. This role requires prior trach and g-tube experience, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with the parents.
Duties:
Monitor and suction the trach.
Feed via G-tube.
Provide education and support and follow guidance from therapists.
Ensure a safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and best practices.
Requirements:
Experience in providing care for pediatric patients with trach/G-tube.
Valid nursing license (LPN/RN) in the state of practice.
Experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of infection control practices and procedures.
Familiarity with primary care principles and practices.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with parents.
Ability to work independently while demonstrating critical thinking skills in patient care situations.
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards of practice.

Pay: $100.00 - $150.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 48 per week
