Year round Part-time position (approximately 36 hours /week)
Open for immediate hire
Work Week:
Sunday - Thursday 9am to 4pm
Responsibilities (listed in priority):
Fish Culture: Propagation, Care and Stocking Trout Species
Facility Maintenance: Grounds Care and Building Maintenance
Customer Service: Admission, Gift Shop & Children’s Fishing
Aquarium: Maintain Fish, Reptile and Amphibian Exhibits
Education: Conduct onsite and outreach programming
REQUIREMENTS (only applicants with these will be considered):
1. Associate’s degree or greater in biology or related experience in park maintenance.
2. A NYS Driver’s License with a clean driving record for the last three years.
3. Basic experience with small engines, general carpentry, electric and plumbing.
Desirable skills and knowledge:
New York State freshwater communities
Small engine repair
Freshwater or saltwater fishing techniques
Compensation:
$17 / hour
