Industrial Janitor & Handyman - Architectural Stone Manufacturer Wyandanch, NY
$18-24/hour | Full-Time | Manufacturing Environment
We're looking for a reliable person to keep our manufacturing facility clean and organized and to handle basic maintenance and repairs.
THE JOB:
Sweep and clean the production floor
Clean manufacturing machines
Take out garbage throughout the facility
Clean office and plant bathrooms daily
Clean office areas
General industrial housekeeping
Basic repairs and maintenance (plumbing, electrical, painting)
Minor equipment maintenance and lubrication
WHAT WE NEED:
Someone who shows up on time and works independently
Basic handyman skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting)
Physical ability to handle the work (lifting up to 50 lbs, lots of walking)
Comfortable in a manufacturing environment (it's a real factory - dust, noise, machinery)
Reliable transportation to Wyandanch
Previous cleaning or maintenance experience helpful, but not required if you're handy and a hard worker.
