Job Description:
As a Low Voltage Cable Installer Helper, you will assist experienced technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of low voltage systems, including Aalrm, Network and CCTV video cabling. This is an entry-level position, perfect for individuals who are handy with tools and eager to learn a new trade.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the installation of low voltage cabling (e.g., Cat5e, Cat6, coaxial, )
Pull, terminate, and label cables according to project specifications
Support the setup of equipment, including routers, switches, and access points
Help with mounting and securing hardware such as cameras, speakers, and access control devices
Perform basic troubleshooting and testing of cabling systems
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times
Requirements:
No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided
Comfortable using basic hand and power tools, including drills
Ability to follow instructions and work under the guidance of experienced technicians
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Comfortable working on ladders and in various work environments (indoor/outdoor)
Reliable transportation and punctuality
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
