Real Estate Law firm in Hicksville seeks paralegal/legal assistant with 3+ years of experience in field of residential real estate and mortgage banking to handle all aspects of residential real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will have had prior experience working on sales and purchases of 1-4 family houses, co-op's and condominiums from contract through closing and closing residential loan transactions. Must have ability to review and clear title, prepare closing packages, communicate with lenders and title companies, buyers, sellers and attorneys, prepare and complete closing statements. Knowledge of mortgage assignment and CEMA documents helpful. Estate/Probate experience helpful. Good communication skills and some local travel required. Notary helpful but not required.
