Apogee Lighting is currently seeking a Fabrication Assistant Foreman in the Deer Park, NY area. We are looking for reliable individuals with a strong work ethic to join a manufacturing team.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in fabrication or machine shop
Ability to measure with precision
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Basic computer skills
Communication skills
Responsibilities:
Review and manage work orders
Maintain the production schedule ensuring deadlines are being met
Monitor, manage, and coordinate daily activities to personnel on shop floor
Inspect jobs for accuracy during production and upon completion
Measure with precision
Set up and operate equipment when needed
Lift and move heavy objects (50lb+)
Ensure that a clean and safe work environment is maintained
Communicate effectively and positively with shop and office personnel as well as management
Perform other reasonable tasks, when necessary, as requested by management

Day shift
Monday to Friday
Overtime
Weekends as needed
