About the Company: We are a custom woodworking firm specializing in custom residential millwork design and manufacturing. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Finishing Department Foreman to join our team and work in a supervisory role at our factory.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
Supervise and expedite Finishing Department – oversee and monitor sanding, priming, staining, spraying, and sample production.
Ensure safety protocol is followed within the Finishing Department at all times.
Direct and monitor Finishing department daily schedule, set-up, and organization.
Inspect completed products and monitor finish methods for quality control.
Compile and submit daily work reports for Finishing department.
Manage all communication between the Finishing Department and Shop.
Monitor and maintain inventory of Finishing materials/tools.
Report to and communicate with Executive Staff regularly.
Assist with millwork sanding/filing, priming, spraying, staining, and painting when required.
Requirements:
Bilingual a must - fluent in English and Spanish.
Experience working in Finishing in a factory setting.
Experience prepping, staining, painting, and spraying millwork.
Knowledge/understanding of Finishing products and their applications.
Knowledge of Finishing safety protocol.
Experience in a supervisory role.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent multi-tasking skills.
Strong initiative and ability to work independently.
Must be available to work early hours with overtime as needed.
Must be available to work Saturdays as required.
