The Company works with premier builders, architects, and designers to help create some of the most beautiful homes across Long Island, the Tri-State area, Florida and beyond.
Ciuffo Cabinetry is seeking a creative, ambitious Junior Kitchen/Millwork Designer to join our Design Team at our Bayport headquarters. We are seeking an individual with a college degree in Design and/or Architecture. Experience with AutoCAD and 2D/3D modeling strongly desired. This job requires someone who is a self-starter, with excellent written communication skills and strong attention to detail. We are looking for serious applicants only who are interested in committing to a long-term career within our organization.
This position includes but is not limited to the following duties:
Training with our in-house drafting program to draft millwork in both 2D and 3D space
Attending design meetings with the Team
Visiting job sites and conducting measures with the Team
Assisting with client meeting prep – printing drawings, preparing samples
Attending client meetings, taking notes, scanning paperwork/drawings
Supporting Design Principals on large projects
Running errands as needed
Other miscellaneous tasks as needed
Requirements:
College degree in Design and/or Architecture
Proficiency in AutoCAD strongly desired
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Able to work well in both a team setting and independently
Excellent multi-tasking skills
Exceptional eye for detail and creative design
Highly professional demeanor
