Respects and responds quickly to tasks designated.Services and maintains gas fired and electric production equipment including kettles, pumps, horizontal and vertical baggers, cookers, conveyors, heat and cooling tunnels, belts, motors, compressors, etc.Repairs and maintains custodial equipment.Performs pipe fitting & minor plumbing functionsServices and maintains pneumatic controlsRequests material required to complete the jobEnsures adequate supplies are in stock for emergency repairs and preventative maintenanceRequired to be on call as necessaryAble to troubleshot electrical problemsInstalls and exchanges motors, speed reducers and etc.Use conduit and work with electrical panels a plus.Be familiar with FDA requirements for food service equipment greasing and other requirements a plus.Familiar with operation of packaging and conveying equipment to assist with troubleshooting.Experience working in the trade a plus.High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or trainingAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.Must posses a valid Driver's licenseExperience in various types of heating and cooling systems a plus.Ability to read and work from blueprints and schematicWorking knowledge of rigging methods used to move heavy equipmentAbility to work in a team environment with a minimum of supervision.
