Railex has been in business since 1954. Railex manufactures equipment for material handling. Railex has a full time permanent position for a person who has these 3 skills. For this job you must be able to:
1) Read shop drawings.
2) Weld steel - MIG
3) Set and operate a brake press prints

This is a year round full time position with overtime (if you want it).
This position is for someone who will fabricate steel. You will work as part of a team. Our equipment includes welding, brake presses, stamping presses, drill presses, lathes, milling machines, saws, benders, rollers, plasma tables, robotic welding cell, and many more. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow and advance.
You must have 3 skills to apply: Read shop drawings, weld, and set and operate brake presses. All of the work is in our Copiague factory. No traveling is required.
The starting pay is $24.00 per hour or more based on experience.
Must be legal to work and fluent in English.
Need to be capable of independently lifting 50 pounds.
This job is 40 hours per week. M-F 7:00 - 3:30.
