We are looking for a QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR
With a minimum of 4 years working as a QC Inspector in a manufacturing environment, sheet metal and machining desirable
Must be able to read and interpret all prints, drawings and customer quality clause's
Applicants must have experience using all types of measuring tools like Calipers, Micrometers, thread and pin gauges also knowledge of all measuring equipment
The ideal candidate will have relevant prior experience, with a good understanding of metal manufacturing practices. Strong work ethic, attention to detail and mechanical ability are important, in addition to effective ''English" communication.
Special Position Requirements:
Detail oriented and methodical.
Accurate and detailed record keeping.
Capable of organizing, prioritizing, and multi-tasking
Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret all drawing requirements and perform
work to those instructions.
Duties:
Complete first piece inspections and document the data for FAI reports when required
To perform first article, in process, and final inspections of sheet metal
and machined parts.
To inspect all incoming parts from “vendors” Finishing, Welder etc to
check for any discrepancy
Any incoming discrepancies need to be documented and the vendor
informed
You will need to follow up on any non-conformances
COMPENSATION:
Full-time position, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with possibility of overtime.
