Apogee Lighting is currently seeking a Turret Punch Machine Operator in the Deer Park, NY area. We are seeking reliable individuals with a strong work ethic to join a manufacturing team. This position requires the ability to read and interpret blueprint/engineering drawings. Strong mechanical aptitude and problems solving skills with a background in CNC punching.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate Turret Punch Press to fabricate high-quality metal parts.
Read blueprints and job specifications to ensure precision in punching patterns.
Perform quality checks and make adjustments to maintain high standards.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Work alongside a collaborative production team to meet daily output goals.
Qualifications:
Experience operating a turret punch machine (Amada preferred).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
CNC programming knowledge.
Schedule:
Day shift
Monday to Friday
Overtime
Weekends as needed
