Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Inside Sales Manager to manage order processing, invoicing, and customer interactions. This remote role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to track and manage multiple orders, and strong record-keeping capabilities. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable handling government contracts and vendor relations.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Communication:

Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries via phone and email.

Ensure all customer inquiries receive a response within 24 hours.

Provide proactive follow-ups to maintain strong relationships and ensure client satisfaction.

Communicate effectively with our manufacturer base to ensure relationships are well maintained

Order Processing & Tracking:

Process customer orders and submit orders to vendors/manufacturers using price lists and securing special pricing when necessary.

Track and manage orders from placement to delivery, ensuring timely fulfillment.

Handle GSA (General Services Administration) order processing through the portal (training provided).

Invoicing & Payments:

Prepare and send quotes and invoices to customers in PDF format.

Process credit card payments via virtual terminal platforms.

Manage vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.

Record Maintenance:

Maintain accurate records of all orders in Microsoft Excel, including order dates, ship dates, invoices, costs, selling prices, and profit margins.

Organize and update records to ensure easy access and accurate reporting.

Vendor & Business Relations:

Build and maintain relationships with vendors and manufacturers to ensure smooth transactions and good standing.

Set up and interface with new business accounts as needed.

Government Bidding Support:

Monitor bid portals for relevant opportunities.

Assist with bid submissions, including business information entry, pricing, and follow-ups.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in inside sales, order processing, or sales administration.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adobe PDF tools.

Experience with record maintenance and order tracking.

Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with government sales or GSA portal navigation (training provided).

Familiarity with credit card processing through virtual terminals.

Benefits:
