Established North Shore, Long Island based Off-Premise Catering Company is seeking Full Time/ Part Time qualified candidates to fill the following positions: Catering Sales Persons, Office Assistants, Serving Staff, Bartenders, Kitchen Manger/ Cooks, & Dishwashers.
CATERING SALES PERSONS/ OFFICE ASSISTANTS:
Must have knowledge of current food trends, menu, event planning and coordination.
Great personal, written, phone, and organizational skills required.
Looking for a neat and polished individual.
Must also be computer, typing proficient, with excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, and Internet.
Must have Knowledge of catering management and/or database programs. We use FileMaker Pro.
Knowledge of QuickBooks would be a plus but not required.
3 years or more previous catering sales experience is a MUST.
Must have the ability to cultivate new business relationships as well as maintain our existing ones.
Must be able to coordinate and execute marketing and networking initiatives. Experience with Social Media, Email Marketing, and Graphic Design is a big plus.
Must be able to work weekends.
WAITSTAFF AND BARTENDERS: Looking for individuals who have previous foodservice experience, that are neat, presentable, hospitable, have a positive can-do attitude, can lift and carry at off-premise events in the New York metro area. Commuting will be necessary. Clean driver's license and a vehicle is a plus.
KITCHEN MANAGER/COOKS/DISHWASHERS: Looking for individuals that have previous catering cooking experience, with different levels of ability, can easily learn our menu of recipes. Bilingual- English/Spanish speaking a big plus. Also cooks with the ability to multi-task and do purchasing at local cash/carry, have a clean driver's license and can drive a box truck another plus.
