We seek someone to assist in handling clerical tasks in our busy construction office.
You will be responsible for incoming phone calls, directing them to the appropriate department, and communicating with other departments.
Maintaining paper and electronic files, updating documents, and performing general office duties.
Must be a team player with strong organizational skills and multi-task ability.
A positive attitude and willingness to take on additional tasks when necessary.
A team player with a pleasing personality and strong communication skills is also highly valued.

Office Assistant Responsibilities:
Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and professional manner
Ability to take detailed, accurate messages.
Assist in organizing and scheduling appointments/projects.
Perform data entry tasks and maintain electronic and paper records
Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner
Perform general office duties
Strong attention to detail and organization skills are a must
Assist each department with any support
Pull project bids for estimating department
Become familiar with applicable jurisdiction filings
Assist with project-specific logistics.
Assist the estimating department with pulling each bid and maintaining a calendar with due dates of estimates and up-to-date amendments if applicable.
Office Assistant Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience as an office assistant or in a related field
Ability to speak, read, and write in English and Spanish
Ability to work well with others
Knowledge of Word, Microsoft Excel, and QuickBooks a plus
