Growing electrical company looking for someone to assist in handling clerical tasks in our office. You will be responsible for incoming phone calls and other communications, as well as maintaining paper and electronic files, updating documents, and performing other general office duties.
Must be a team player with strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. Must have a positive attitude and willing to take on additional tasks when necessary. The right candidate will also speak English fluently, write clearly and be proficient with Word, Microsoft Excel, and QuickBooks. A team player with a pleasing personality and strong communication skills is also highly valued.
Office Assistant Responsibilities:
Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and professional manner
Ability to take detailed accurate messages
Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
Assist in organizing and scheduling appointments
Perform data entry tasks and maintain electronic and paper records
Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner
Perform general office duties
Strong attention to detail and organization skills a must
Office Assistant Requirements:
High school diploma
Experience as an office assistant or in related field
Ability to speak English and write clearly
Pleasant personality with strong communication skills
Ability to work well with others
Great communication skills
Attention to detail
Knowledge of Word, Microsoft Excel, and QuickBooks a plus
