Office Manager

Location: Bayshore, NY

Position: Part-Time (with potential for Full-Time)

Pay: $22/hour

We are a growing company seeking a motivated and reliable Office Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring smooth office operations, and supporting the owner to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with the team and management.

Responsibilities:

Email Management: Respond to emails in a timely and professional manner, ensuring effective communication with clients, vendors, and internal team members.

3D Plans: Assist in drawing 3D plans (training provided). Ensure plans align with client specifications and project requirements.

Scheduling: Organize and manage appointments, meetings, and project timelines. Coordinate with clients and vendors to ensure deadlines are met.

Task Management: Take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion with minimal supervision. Ensure all assigned tasks are completed on time and meet quality standards.

Communication: Maintain open, clear communication with the owner regarding task progress, needs, and any challenges. Provide updates as necessary and seek clarification when needed.

Office Organization: Assist in maintaining the organization of office files, documents, and records, both digitally and physically.

General Administrative Support: Provide support as needed in other office-related duties such as answering phone calls, filing, and office maintenance.

Requirements:

Experience: Previous office management or administrative experience preferred, but not required.

Skills: Proficiency with office software (Word, Excel, Google Suite). Familiarity with design software (such as AutoCAD or SketchUp) is a plus, but we will train the right candidate in 3D design tools.

Independent Worker: Must be able to work independently, manage time efficiently, and stay organized.

Positive Attitude: A strong desire to contribute positively to a growing team. Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.

Communication: Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to articulate needs, ask questions, and provide feedback as necessary.

Attention to Detail: Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring quality and deadlines are met.

Schedule:

Part-Time (approximately 20-30 hours per week), with potential for full-time based on performance and company needs.
