Salesperson needed for canning manufacturing

We’re looking for a driven, persuasive salesman to help expand our customer base and represent our results-oriented approach to canning. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a knack for building client relationships, and a background in sales–preferably in packaging or industrial goods. Responsibilities:

Selling Products

- The core function is to sell buckets and pails to paint and chemical manufacturers

Customer Interaction

- This includes contacting potential clients, conducting product demonstrations, and building relationships with buyers.

Traveling for sales - Must be willing to travel as required to discuss and complete sales

Negotiation

- Negotiating prices and terms of sale with customers is a crucial part of the job.

Sales Strategy

- Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve the company’s sales targets.

Reporting and Analysis

- Analyzing sales data, preparing reports, and providing feedback on market trends.

Administrative Tasks

- Managing expenses, scheduling appointments, and handling other administrative duties.

Product Knowledge

- A strong understanding of the products being sold is essential.

Customer Service

- Providing excellent customer service and support throughout the sales process

Qualifications:

Sales Experience

- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the metal packaging industry.

Problem-Solving Skills - The ability to identify and resolve customer issues

Communication Skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues.

Product Knowledge - Familiarity with the specific products being sold.

Organizational Skills: - The ability to manage a territory, track sales activities, and handle administrative tasks.
