Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Mechanic to join our team at Icarus Flying Academy. In this role, you will assist our certified mechanics in maintaining and repairing our fleet of training aircraft. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in aviation maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist mechanics with routine maintenance and inspections of flight school airplanes
- Help with repairs and troubleshooting of aircraft systems and components
- Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks to ensure safety and compliance
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist with inventory management of tools and parts
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of aviation systems and maintenance practices (preferred but not required)
