As one of the top automotive centers in Long Island we are looking for an A or strong B General Repair Tech/Diagnostician who has the skillset to maintain a high level of service for our customers. This role includes very competetive pay, AAMCO training, and the unique opportunity to advance to become a shop foreman. The center is located on Sunrise Highway with easy access to LIRR and Long Island beaches.
Position Responsibilities:
-Inspect, diagnose and repair general vehicle automotive systems
-Remove and reinstall transmission systems
-Explain problems discovered during vehicle inspection to service writers and technicians
-Professionally record findings so that repair costs are accurately estimated
-Continuously learn new technical information, equipment, tools and repair techniques
