Busy remodeling company that installs a lot of windows and doors is seeking mechanics and junior mechanics with a high skillset and attention to quality. You must have proper tools to do the job and reliable transportation, preferably a late mode truck. Willing to travel to jobs throughout all of Suffolk and Nassau.
Your job and coinciding abilities include:
Protect clients homes in work areas with provided floor protection and, occasionally, plastic curtain walls.
Perform demolition limited to the scope of work without damage to surrounding areas.
Perfectly install windows and doors plumb, level, square, and true.
Take apart and patch back all types of sidings.
Meticulous trim installation.
Fabricate and install door and window pans.
All types of metal capping and flashings.
Some projects require alterations that include framing, roofing, drywall, etc.
This is a no short-cuts, high quality environment. Please be neat, reliable, and friendly. Your compensation will commensurate with your experience. Pay is 100% on the books and we work 40 hrs per week. Some overtime. This is a great job for the right individual.
