Splash and Dash Groomerie & Boutique is now accepting applications for our St. James New York location.
We are looking for a part/full time Experienced, Enthusiastic, Energetic, Dog loving, Stylist/ Groomer. The Stylist/Groomer will work with pet parents to provide styling services to keep pets healthy, happy and looking great! 2+ years professional styling experience a plus; experience working with dogs of various sizes, breeds and temperaments, know breed specific standard cuts, be proficient with clippers and scissors, must be reliable, flexible, detail oriented and able to multitask. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Exceptional Customer Service, Groom and Style pets per owner instructions, Brushing, specific Shaves, Cuts or Trims, add finishing touches such as ribbons bows, bandanas, collar bows, etc., General cleaning; and provide recommendations for products and services that will keep pets healthy.
Must be able to lift 50lbs, safely.
Ideal candidate is a reliable team player, quick learner, self-starter, takes initiative, is upbeat, willing to work hard and has a Love for Dogs! Cat grooming abilities a PLUS.
Must be able to work Tues-Sat and some Holidays.
Compensation based on experience and skills
