Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Granite Templator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate templates for granite countertops and other stone surfaces. This role requires precision, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail to ensure a perfect fit for each custom project.
Key Responsibilities:
Template Creation: Measure and create precise templates for granite countertops and other stone surfaces at client locations.
Client Communication: Interact with clients to understand their requirements and provide professional advice on design and layout.
Accuracy and Quality: Ensure all measurements are accurate and templates meet company standards for quality and precision.
Problem Solving: Identify potential issues during the templating process and provide solutions to ensure a smooth installation.
Collaboration: Work closely with the fabrication and installation teams to ensure templates are translated accurately into finished products.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of measurements, templates, and client interactions.
Requirements:
Experience: Prior experience in templating, measuring, or working with granite and stone surfaces is preferred, but not required.
Skills: Proficient in using measuring tools and template-making equipment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with digital templating tools.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training in a related field is a plus.
