Environmental Landscaping is seeking a full time Landscape designer to join our team. A designer who can develop creative landscape designs catered toward customer expectations and goals.
Ideal candidate can maintain and organize a strong working schedule on a weekly / daily basis, with the ability to take initiative, anticipate needs and take action. High level of communication and organization skills, excellent customer service skills, interacting with clients and co-workers daily. Ability to create proposals, contracts and estimates for designs, and follow up with the same. Capable of learning new landscape software.
Qualifications:
Horticulture: Knowledge of plant / landscape material
Associates degree ( preferred)
Minimum 2 years of experience in landscape design position
Hands on experience in landscape design and construction
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong computer skills
Job Responsibilities Include:
Create computer design / image presentation for clients.
Formulate cost estimates and written proposals.
Prepare site inventory and analysis through site visits and field observations.
Work hand in hand with project manager on all aspects of the design / build process
Interact and coordinate with vendors and sub-contractors.
