Role Responsibilities:
-Oversee the proper execution of all signed Lawn Care contracts for Summerhill Estate Care/Plant Healthcare.
-Oversee the lawn care production schedule and coordinate with the Plant Healthcare team to ensure that all work is executed on time.
-Responsible for executing all applications in accordance with NYSDEC laws. This includes neighbor notification in accordance with DEC law prior to applications being made, proper posting of the property prior to applications being made and ensuring each application is made in accordance with pesticide label.
-Monitor client's lawns for insect, fungal and abiotic problems as well as irrigation and fertilizer deficiencies and report to plant health care manager. Also, scout for issues with annuals, perennials, new plantings and exterior of the house to enhance customer experience and ensure Summerhill maintains their properties to the highest standard.
-Maintain DEC applicator annual report sheet. Fill out on a daily basis and file with PHC manager.
-File daily production sheets with PHC Manager at the completion of each workday.
-Maintain a clean work environment including the interior and exterior of the spray truck. A clean, spill-free pesticide shed, and PPE Shed.
-Coordinate pesticide and fertilizer inventory with PHC manager to ensure production can continue uninterrupted through the season. This includes taking inventory of the pesticide shed on a weekly basis.
-Maintain a current DEC 3A pesticide applicator license.
-Stay current on horticultural best practices by attending conferences throughout the year.
-Maintain open lines of communication with Summerhill managers including maintenance, landscape and irrigation foreman to ensure properties are maintained to the highest standard.
