Duties:
- Install, repair, and maintain locks and security systems
- Cut and duplicate keys
- Genarate and program car keys and fobs
- Open locked doors, safes, and vehicles
- Assess security needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Provide emergency lockout services
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in lock and security technology
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a locksmith training program or apprenticeship preferred
- Proven experience as a handy tech
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
Note: A valid driver's license may be required for certain positions.
