Mobile ADAS Technician

Key Responsibilities:

Installation and Calibration: Perform on-site installation and calibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) components, including sensors, cameras, and radar systems.

Diagnostics: Utilize specialized diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and identify issues with ADAS features, ensuring proper functionality.

Data Analysis: Analyze vehicle data and perform adjustments as necessary to optimize ADAS performance and accuracy.

Customer Education: Explain ADAS features and functionality to customers, providing guidance on operation and maintenance.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, calibrations, repairs, and customer interactions.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all service procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest advancements in ADAS technology, tools, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in automotive technology or electronics preferred.

Experience: Previous experience in automotive repair, particularly with ADAS systems, is advantageous.

Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE, OEM-specific ADAS training) are preferred.

Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift heavy objects, work in various environments, and perform tasks in confined spaces or varying weather conditions.

Work Environment:

Mobile ADAS technicians work primarily in the field, traveling to customer locations, which may include residential areas, businesses, or roadside assistance situations.
