Tilesetter Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and replace various types of tiles (ceramic, porcelain, marble, etc.)
Prepare surfaces, cut tiles, and ensure precise measurements and layout
Ensure high-quality work that meets project specifications
Work independently or as part of a team
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Helper Responsibilities:
Assist the tilesetter with daily tasks, including tile cutting and surface prep
Handle materials and tools efficiently
Mix adhesives and grouts as needed
Ensure job sites remain safe and organized
Support the tilesetter on large and small-scale projects
Requirements:
Tilesetter:
Proven experience as a tilesetter
Knowledge of tile types, patterns, and installation techniques
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Must have reliable transportation
Helper:
Willingness to learn and work hard
Previous experience in construction or home improvement is a plus
Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
