Busy Long Island trucking company specializing in home appliance deliveries is hiring full-time local delivery drivers and helpers to service the Brooklyn and Queens areas. This position aims to safely and efficiently deliver products by loading, unloading, and installing appliances, and operating a box truck.
Responsibilities include:
-Loading trucks by ordering, placing, and securing merchandise.
-Delivering merchandise by identifying destinations, establishing routes, operating the truck, unloading the products, installing new, removing old products, and maintaining a schedule.
-Establishing excellent customer service relationships with existing and new customers.
-Maintaining the safe operation and clean appearance of company vehicles.
Qualifying driver applicants MUST have a clean driving record as well as a valid driver's license. City driving experience is preferred, but not required. Will train.
