Pat’s service center a family owned local Auto,Truck and Equipment repair co has been at the same location for the last 30
Years at 175 Greeley ave, Sayville, NY. and now is expanding the diesel truck & construction equipment repair department side of the business. We are looking for outside diesel repair subcontractors to travel to our account customers on a contract basis where you will provide labor For all repair work you will perform on a commission basis. In order to be considered for this position, you must have the following.
1). Legal company Name & Bank account.
2). General liability insurance plus Workmen’s Compensation if you employ a helper.
3). You must have a completely set up service truck with all your own tools and equipment.
4). The service area that you would be performing the work would be in Nassau and Suffolk counties.
5). You must have experience and scanners in order to troubleshoot, diesel engines, and construction equipment.
6). You must be very diversified In all major brands of trucks and construction equipment, repair, and maintenance.
7). A New York State diesel inspector’s license is a big plus, but not required because we are a New York state, heavy truck
and diesel emissions inspection station.
We Provide all the sales to obtain the projects.
We set the work schedule based on the subcontractors availability so you don’t lose your current work.
We provide payment for each week of completed invoices every Friday of the following week.
We provide a 1099 at the end of each year for your taxes.
This is a perfect opportunity for a self-employed organized diesel/Fleet mechanic to add workload to his current schedule and increase his weekly, monthly and yearly revenues without having to do all the marketing and administration work that goes along with it.

Compensation is based on billable hours that is charged to the client. You will receive 40% of the billable labor hours of the invoice, parts and sales tax are not part of the compensation.
