Human Resources Generalist The OpportunityFCA is excited to announce an opportunity for the position of Human Resources Generalist.The HR Generalist encompasses the full spectrum of HR responsibilities, collaborating closely with FCA by handling various administrative tasks and assisting with HR-related functions.Responsibilities
Provide support across various HR functions.
Coordinate new employee onboarding, verifications of employment. and orientation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
Process new hire paperwork and ensure completion of required forms.
Assist with employee changes such as promotions, transfers, and terminations.
Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR department, including filing, data entry, and maintaining HR records.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to maintain legal compliance.
Conduct background checks and reference checks for potential hires.
Assist with full-cycle recruitment process, post job openings on job boards, and company websites.
Administer mandatory compliance training.
Oversee Volunteer process for all departments.
Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Prior experience in human resources roles, preferably as an HR Generalist.
Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite

The competitive compensation range is reflected with FCA's framework, culture, and values. Individual pay decisions will vary based on skills and experience while still allowing for growth.
Additional Information
Hourly: $27-30/hr
Schedule: M-F
Location: Garden City
This role is full-time (35 hours/week), non-exempt.
