JOB TITLE: Dishwasher MAIN FUNCTION: Dish, Pot and Pan Washing REPORTS TO: Executive Chef DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collects, scrapes, washes, stacks and stores dishes for service.
Cleans and maintains dish machine for proper operation.
Collects and removes garbage from work areas.
Sweeps and mops floor regularly according to cleaning schedule.
Does general cleaning according to the cleaning schedule.
Stores staple items on delivery.
Is responsible for removal of dirty linen.
Cleans loading dock of all spilled trash.
Maintains sanitation standards of mop room.
Additional duties as assigned.

CONTACTS: Frequent contact with employees in own department, some contact with employees in other departments. Some contact with resident
WORKING CONDITIONS: Works in hot, steamy dish room.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Stands during entire shift. Lifts load on dish racks and heavy pots and pans. Pushes large food carts. Works weekends and some holidays.
JOB HAZARDS: Subject to irritation by harsh detergents. Some danger of cuts and burns. Some danger of falls on wet floors. Subject to all normal kitchen hazards.
SAFETY: Will follow safe work practices in accordance with facility health and safety policies.
