Assistant Bookkeeper Position

We are a small Construction company and we are seeking a motivated Administrative Assistant Bookkeeper to support our daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks and maintaining job costing.
Process and record payroll weekly within QuickBooks
Maintain account reconciliations
Provide office support
Create and maintain Excel spreadsheet reports
Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience in bookkeeping
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication to a variety of styles and client priorities
- Self-starter attitude with the ability to problem solve; comfortable with an open-ended problem and creating a suggested plan from that
- Project and process management, managing deadlines and several priorities Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Experience with bookkeeping (QuickBooks preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
