Accounting firm is looking for a Tax Accountant to join their exciting and dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of related experience within an accounting firm. Responsibilities:
Working hand and hand with a CPA
Generate financial statements
Qualifications:
Bachelors in Accounting, Finance or related field
Active CPA or EA designation desired
5+ years’ experience in preparing tax returns
Experience with a wide range of areas of taxation, including individual, partnerships, S Corporations, C Corporations, Trusts and Estates and Multi State returns
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material in a professional manner.
Proficient in Quickbooks is a must. Knowledge of Sage is also a must!
Must have knowledge of Payroll and Sales Tax
Strong verbal and written communication with excellent interpersonal skills is a must.
