Our desk has recently expanded, and we are looking to add 2 (two) Junior Traders.
Responsibilities
Trading Operations
- Execute trades under the supervision of senior traders
- Monitor market conditions and price movements throughout trading sessions
- Maintain accurate position tracking and risk exposure records
Market Analysis & Research
- Conduct fundamental and technical analysis on assigned securities/markets
- Prepare daily market summaries and trading ideas
- Monitor news flow and economic data releases
- Maintain trading journals and performance analytics
- Research new trading opportunities and strategies
Risk Management
- Adhere to all risk limits and trading guidelines
- Monitor position sizes and exposure levels
- Implement stop-loss and risk mitigation strategies
- Report any risk concerns to senior management immediately
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements
Administrative Duties
- Prepare daily trading reports and position summaries
- Maintain organized records of all trading activities
- Participate in team meetings and strategy discussions
Professional Development
- Continuously educate yourself on market developments and trading strategies
- Attend training sessions and professional development programs
- Build relationships with brokers, analysts, and other market participants
Qualifications
Prior experience is helpful, however, not required.
That the right person, with proper motivation and dedication, can learn everything they need to succeed in trading.
