A small property management company is looking for a part time bookkeeper to work 4-6 hours bi-weekly in our office on the Upper East Side. We are privately owned and have been in business for 40+ years. The hours and work days of this position are flexible.
Responsibilities:
Process accounts receivable and account payable
Organize and maintain filing system
Prepare bank deposits
Reconcile bank transactions on a bi-weekly basis
Prepare paychecks for part-time help
Collect and post information for annual tax returns
Prepare tax data related to real estate
Requirements:
3 years of full charge bookkeeping experience
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Able to work on special projects as needed
Intermediate or better knowledge of spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel or LibreOffice Calc.
Competent in the use of word processing software to produce professionally-formatted business documents.
