Harlem-based Enrolled Agent office looking for part-time tax
associate ‘til end of October 2024. Candidate will assist with
federal & tax audits and filing extended tax returns.
Must have following experience:
♦AFSP or EA credentials only
♦2 years tax preparation in Drake tax preparation program
♦Good writing & public interaction skills (must
interpret and reply to tax authority correspondence)
♦Knowledge of how to do 6-figure income Schedule C’s
♦Knowledge of how to do voluminous stock sales & rental
property tax returns
♦QuickBooks & Pivot table experience
♦Able to interpret IRS transcripts
♦Knowledge of how to do Multi-state scenarios
♦Working in paperless environment
♦Using Monroe Ultimate-X adding machine
♦Analytical skills (ability to review audited tax returns
for errors)
Must be proficient in Adobe Acrobat DC, Excel 365 or 2021 and
QuickBooks.
Pay rate commensurate with experience [on a 1099-basis].
