NYC Hospitality Group is looking for a Hospitality Bookkeeper to handle bookkeeping for 3 venues.
Required Skills and Responsibilities;
-2+ years bookkeeping experience in the hospitality industry (bars, restaurants, etc.)
-Knowledge of Quickbooks
-Proficient in Excel
-Thorough understanding of basic journal entries
-Ability to work efficiently, multi-task, and prioritize numerous activities at once
-High level of organization, accuracy and attention to detail
-Sales Journal entries
-Maintain filing systems
-Manage daily cash flow for multiple venues
-Reconcile all bank and credit card statements
-Understanding of journal entries, A/P and A/R cycles
-Process invoices and conduct bill pay
-Prepare weekly sales reports
-Prepare monthly P&L reports
-Company transfers and reconciliations
-Review pricing accuracy and price changes on vendor invoices
-Experience with Aloha POS & Clover POS systems a plus
-Prepare quarterly Sales Tax
-Submit Payroll to Valiant Payroll
