A growing staffing firm placing candidates across the United States is seeking a full-time Payroll Coordinator.
This is a perm position.
The annually salary is $55,000 plus benefits.
The work schedule is Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm. Wednesdays are a later dismissal.
The work site location is Midtown Manhattan East Side.
Payroll Coordinator Job Description
Responsibilities:
Review and verify timesheets for accuracy.
Enter work orders, sick orders, and holiday orders into the system.
Prepare and send "Right to Work" forms in compliance with company policies.
Process sick pay requests in a timely manner.
Respond to payroll-related inquiries, resolving concerns for both clients and temporary employees promptly and professionally.
Post and process journal entries to ensure accurate recording of all business transactions.
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly payroll reports.
Manage direct deposit requests and maintain payroll data integrity.
Process accounts payable and perform reconciliations as required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Comprehensive knowledge of payroll processes, including inputting payroll data from timesheets.
Proven multitasking and time management skills in fast-paced environments.
Strong research and analytical capabilities.
Proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
Experience with Kronos/UKG is highly desirable but not required.
