Senior Tax Accountant
Growing boutique CPA firm seeks a senior tax accountant with extensive experience in reviewing and preparing individual tax returns, QuickBooks, supervising staff and interacting with clients.
Our firm primarily prepares returns for self-employed individuals and medium to complicated individual returns. In addition, our small-business returns are mainly concentrated on flow through entities. We use Lacerte as our primary software tool.
This role also has responsibility for managing a staff of two to three people, providing feedback on performance and ensuring maximum productivity of the team. In addition, this role is responsible for communicating with clients to foster trust and confidence in our services.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience preparing and reviewing returns including extensive experience with individual and small business tax returns.
CPA and non-CPA candidates are welcome. For non-CPA applicants, this job is eligible for CPA experience requirements as part of licensure.
QuickBooks proficiency required
Sales and payroll tax filing experience
The ability to customize client service with the ability to speak Mandarin, Chinese, Hebrew, Spanish, Pakistani, and/or Russian is a definite plus.
A proactive, friendly, client-focused service orientation is needed.
Start Date, Hours & Compensation
Immediate start date available. While we are initially looking for tax season, ideally, we are looking for someone who could eventually join us full-time if there is mutual interest.
