We are looking for a like-minded finance professional who is willing and able to support our small bakery with weekly Bookeeping. This is a part-time role, that would require around 6hrs per week.
Starrlight Bakery is a sourdough microbakery committed to serving high quality batard, olive loaves, demi baguettes, and seasonal loaves to our neighbors in Bushwick and customers in surrounding neighborhoods. We are a small but mighty team of bakers that prioritize communication, commitment to quality, and a positive working environment. We are located near Maria Hernandez Park and the Jefferson Ave L station.

Qualifications:
- Excellent Communication skills, both client facing and internal
- Problem Solving Abilities
- Attention to Detail
- Interest in Automation and modern financial workflows
- Experience with Accounts Receivable
- Experience with Quickbooks
Job Description & Responsibilities:
- Receive weekly payments from our retail partners
- Process credits for unsold items
- Follow up and send statements about unpaid invoices
- Report status of AR work to company stakeholders
Pay and Benefits:
- Hourly rate for bookeeping is $20/hr, with potential for increased wages alongside expanded responsibilities.
