Associate (Apollo Management Holdings, L.P. – New York, NY); Multiple positions available. Offering a salary range of $175,000 - $200,000 per year. Liaise with the Senior Managing Director and Team Leads to provide analytical and project support for all investment-related activities. Serve as a subject-matter expert of the Global Corporate Credit Team and will deploy statistical techniques to source new and monitor existing investments. Develop investment committee memoranda, data and particulars for senior leadership and ad hoc projects, including portfolio monitoring, reporting and/or investor requests. Associate with senior analysts and the trading team to underwrite credits across the capital structure of distressed and stressed companies. Conduct financial modeling, quantitative financial analysis, finance and business due diligence and quarterly reporting in continuous support of Apollo’s Global Corporate Credit business. Support various corporate activities and PMs across the Apollo Credit platform.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business, Economics, Political Economy or a related field and 2 years of experience in investment banking, capital markets, or buy-side investments. Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following: Quantitative financial analysis; Financial modeling; Portfolio monitoring and management; Credit investing; Credit document review; and liability management, restructuring, and bankruptcy process. Experience may be gained concurrently.
