Since 2006, NEC AGENCY INC has been servicing the Tri State area and is seeking a Full Time or Part Time position that provides exceptional customer service for our policyholders. As an Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will serve as a direct point of contact for customers, providing them with comprehensive support on insurance related matters. Assisting policyholders and potential customers with their inquiries, mange policies, process claims, and other insurance related tasks.
Responsibilities and Duties
The Insurance Customer Service representative will:
Handle customer inquiries and complaints regarding insurance policies and claims.
Assist potential customers in understanding and choosing suitable insurance policies.
Process insurance claims and manage policy renewals and modifications.
Build sustainable relationships and trust with policyholders through open and interactive communication.
Issuing certificates of insurance, endorsements, preparing accord applications and documents for new business, data entry, scanning and filing.
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous Customer Service experience in the Insurance industry is highly preferred.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks concurrently.
Excellent people skills with a customer-friendly attitude.
Knowledge of CRM systems and practices.
Necessary Experience
Minimum of 2 year’s experience in a customer support role within the insurance industry.
