AVAILABLE POSITION
DELIVERY DRIVER FOR NEWSPAPER PUBLISHER (Queens)
Starting Pay: $32.10/hr.
Shifts:
Day shifts are 8 hours.
Night shifts: 7 hours Sunday night thru Thursday night - 8 hours Friday night -
7 1/2 hours Saturday night.
Essential Duties:
Perform pre-trip and post -trip vehicle inspections.
Deliver newspapers and other products.
Functions will also include performance of all delivery department & production plant floor tasks as required.
This position is represented by the Newspaper Mail Delivers Union.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years old.
Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
Must be able to operate vehicle safely.
Must complete DOT requirements.
Must be able to drive Manual Transmission.
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
