EXPERIENCED PEST CONTROL TECHNICIAN (All 5 Boroughs)
Starting Pay: $22 - $26/hr.
Description:
As a Pest Control Technician, you will seek to solve existing pest problems and recommend corrective actions to prevent future pest problems.
Essential Job Functions:
Knowledge of pests, rodents, and other vermin.
Knowledge of pest control products, services, treatments, regulations, and safety procedures.
Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
Ability to enter/exit structures and crawl spaces, climb over and on top of structures, ascend and descend stairs and ladders.
Ability to use required personal protective equipment.
Ability to visually inspect for pests, pest entries, etc.
Ability to tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations.
Follows all Company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Follows OSHA/FIFRA policies and procedures when carrying out pest control services.
Operates company vehicle safely; and maintains vehicle to comply with DOT and company guidelines.
Completes services as scheduled and provides appropriate documentation of services performed.
Reports and paperwork are thorough, accurate, legible, and on time.
Acts quickly and effectively to address actual or potential problems.
The ability to meet the physical demands of the job; walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, lifting & carrying up to 40 lbs., etc.
Requirements:
Must have at least 3 years of driving experience to drive a company vehicle.
Must have at least one year pest control experience
A valid NYS driver's license
The ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
Legal eligibility to work in the U.S
Must be able to park the company vehicle off the street at their home – nights and weekends. Garage, parking lot, driveway etc.
