Busy Midtown Manhattan Garage looking for a Parking Attendant. Morning shift or afternoon shift with flexibility to work other shifts, as well.
6am-2pm
2p-10pm
Job duties:
- greet customers as they enter and exit parking facility
- drive, park and retrieve vehicle in safe, courteous and timely fashion
- complete a circle check for each vehicle and note any pre-existing damage(s)
- request matching valet ticket before retrieving vehicle
- enforce parking garage regulations
- work independently and within a team to ensure tasks within the garage get done
- any and all other assigned duties
Requirements:
- must be at least 18 years of age
- must possess a valid driver’s license
- must know how to drive and park a car with a manual transmission
Experience:
- EXPERIENCE AS A PARKING ATTENDANT OR VALET REQUIRED
- familiar with a range of vehicle types
- strong customer service skills
- knowledge of parking POS systems a plus
- parking managerial experience a plus
$17/hour + tips
