AVAILABLE POSITION
RAMP TURNAROUND COORDINATOR (JFK Airport)
Starting Pay: $23.54/hr.
Essential Responsibilities:
Review all incoming messages and advise arrival team of any updates.
Prepare necessary documents related to the flight.
Obtain pre-fuel amount from load control and advise mechanics.
Report to assigned gate at least 15 minutes prior to ETA.
Obtain clearance from mechanics to operate jetBridge.
Carefully log in all activities required on Ramp Control Sheet.
Ensure all containers positioned to Customer Airline Standard.
Ensure all offloaded cargo and/or baggage containers towed back to cargo warehouse.
Must wear safety protection or safety gear while on duty.
Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
Must have 1-2 years of ramp experience.
Detail-oriented.
6 months to 1 year experience as a Customer Service Agent.
Ramp operations knowledge is helpful.
High School diploma or G.E.D.
Read and write fluently in English.
Effective Communication.
Basic Math.
Long periods of standing.
Lifting and carrying up to 70 lbs.
Constant interaction with ramp personnel, engineering staff, gate staff, and management.
Constant radio usage.
