Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in construction or general labor
Valid driver’s license
Ability to obtain CDL Class B permit before starting
Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime
DIESEL MECHANIC (JFK Airport)
Starting Pay: $25–$30/hr.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on ground support equipment (e.g., baggage loaders, tow tractors, forklifts)
Maintain accurate records using fleet management software
Keep workshop clean and organized with tools and parts properly stored
Stay current on industry trends and regulatory requirements
Follow all safety procedures and protocols
Communicate with team members, supervisors, and vendors
Drive vehicles up to 40 tons in congested areas
Operate power tools and perform mechanical repairs
Read and interpret maintenance manuals and complete required paperwork
Work independently with minimal supervision
Requirements:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Must be at least 18 years old
Valid driver’s license
Ability to read diagrams and work with color-coded wires
Diesel mechanic experience
