Small laundry and dry cleaning business in Chelsea seeking a WALKING delivery person for immediate position opening. Morning, afternoon, or full day shifts available, Monday-Friday. This position includes residential deliveries within a eight block radius by foot, and requires carrying and/or using a small dolly/pull cart when necessary. The job can be high volume at times, so it is important that you're organized and on your feet (literally!). A confident outlook and good communication skills are necessary, as you'll be dealing with both our staff and delivery customers/doormen, in which case your polite and professional demeanor are the face of our brand.
This part-time position requires organization and coordinating skills to use time effectively, a good sense of direction, and a teamwork mentality. The job requires you to be on your feet for hours at a time, carrying (sometimes heavier) deliveries.
PART TIME.
